You may have heard about Rhino Yarn, but still not quite sure what it is, how it works and why it is different.

For the first time, we are giving you the chance to deep dive beneath the surface of our gloves and sleeves where you’ll see there’s much more going on than meets the eye.

Rhino Yarn Technology is what we define as our engineered yarn process. Combining various technical fibres and materials such as fine grade stainless steel, para-aramid fibre or high-performance polyethylene (HPPE) to achieve high cut and mechanical protection in all our PPE to keep worker’s hands safe.

Take a look beneath the surface of some of our primary yarn compositions used to deliver incredible levels of cut resistance. Learn about some of the typical materials used and how we combine them to achieve maximum performance, comfort, and dexterity.

Each component is carefully selected to engineer a product that delivers the desired performance in the most efficient, durable and comfortable structure possible.
A stainless steel core has been our primary approach for delivering cut resistance in the majority of our products. This can then be reinforced with other materials designed for cut resistance such as high-performance polyethylene (HPPE).

Synthetics such as spandex and nylon are twisted unidirectionally with cut resistant fibres to provide high comfort, softness and shape retention for the wearer.

As cut resistance specialists we have a long history and expertise in yarn and glove manufacturing.
Making the primary source of mechanical protection on site in the UK means we can deliver maximum performance in every fibre of what we do.
